Poet Beth "Batyah" Elishevah Ginzberg expresses her creative poetic meditations about water as a very powerful atmospheric element of the environment. Ginzberg wrote these poems at the East Rogers Park Lake Michigan Beaches, on-the-spot, to experientially convey the full effect of the Great Lakes of Chicago, IL USA for your reading pleasure.

DELIGHT IN DELICIOUSNESS

Deliciousness? To delight in it? How about Tuna Casserole? Unfortunately Tuna contains a poisoning from water called Mercury and it should only be eaten three or four times per year. This Mercury poisoning causes the illness of Dementia, that is why older people get Dementia, it is from years and years of eating Tuna. Tuna is cheap, inexpensive so it is the food of the poor, not as a nice delicious fish like the Sardine that is more expensive and does not contain Mercury. There's King Oscar Sardines that come with tangy tomato or yellow mustard sauces, olive oil, black and green olive chopped pieces, delicious red pimentos, not spicy, instead smoothly mild. And a King's? Yes, a royal food of the Kings of England! A United Kingdom's knighted knight's treat of a delish hors d'oeuvres good for parties to celebrate all year round.

The smoked fish called Chubs. It is good! A good deeply and powerfully smoked fish fillet, comes with the head on it it is so very fresh. To use your fork spoon and knife to dissect it to brush away the small bones and to delight in eating this smoked fish so good, no water pollutant poisonings, a good fine fish a real delicious supper!

Tilapia? A white colored pure fish, farm-raised, a good price not overly priced, a recipe to microwave it and to pour red tomato sauce over it and add pieces slices of white real onion. Really incredible! To put it all over Chinese white rice. Steamed puffy mounds of pure white rice. How good this fish really is!

A Lake Superior White Fish. The best! To buy them whole, stuff them with a breaded breading soaked in milk, pure white cute cow's milk, to make a thin incision into the body of the fish, to overflow it then with a delish breaded super stuffing, a munching meal fit for a King and Queen. And for you! A special routine time to eat this fish? How about on Christmas Eve? Sounds good and tastes good to me!

WHAT TO APPRECIATE AND WHAT NOT TO

Can you think of things to appreciate keep a positive viewpoint and make lemonade out of lemons? What to be thankful for? What to appreciate, what to love. Is love a bad word? If it is associated with unrequited love a love that is not true, then it is an expression of deceit, and not real love. How can we have real love? To have an amulet or a locket filled with your loved one's hair to wear, to always be thinking of this loved one, to appreciate her kindness. Not to kill or be killed with kindness, real kindness that is supportive and helps you. Nothing from a liar, to bowl down these liars like bowler's pins, to get a strike or a spare, to win the game. Three holes in a bowling ball. A ball that is black or that is now available in different colors. Brand new beautiful bowling shoes, not to slip in a bowling lane shoes snuggly smooth to feel good a perfect fit.

To go to an artwork gallery to see different wonderful paintings, to even have your own original painting hanging on these walls. No need to hang a criminal in a noose, instead to hang a picture of beauty or one of truth not to be censored. A picture with an image you'll never forget, to develop a photogenic memory, to never forget a face. To think of your loved one's smile. To have a picture of your deceased relatives or pets and to carry it with you to see anytime anywhere, to be in the storage of your pics on your iPhone or hanging on your walls in your home.

To have a relationship with a spirit, someone who is helping you go through life, a spirit of one who you love but is no longer in your physical presence who now is a spirit and with you always and forever, never to leave you, just to think of them, remember them and they appear as an image of loveliness when you conjure them.

Not to have fear, even if you were brought up as a kid with fear. Change this fear into love. Who to love? You can even love a pet rock. It's made up of fossils perhaps bones of a fish or animal, a zillion year old rock. Just a pebble? Yes, it as a pebble that King David released from a slingshot to kill Goliath. Not to use even a pebble as a source of violence like David did unless it is in self-defense.

Do you have a pair of shoes to be thankful for? A pair of athletic shoes not high heels, high heels that cause bunyans. These athletic shoes are comfortable and cause walking and running with ease. Lasting years and years. Cloth shoes, vinyl not leather not an animal's precious skin. Not to dissect a real animal for furs and skins, especially not foxes. Foxes are good not bad animals they have red fur and we need to preserve them from extinction along with all the other animals that are being used for clothing and foods. Veal meat is bad, why, because of the way the calf is housed in a small cage unable to move, this causes the meat to be softer, but the calf is living a life of torture, not able to walk or even get up into a standing position!

To have a good meal of food on a Sunday, a meal of vegan foods. To eat fish. To live and let live, to love and let love.

THE OCEAN IS GREEN NOT BLUE

Tangled up in blue? Gone with the wind? How to come back to Earth where there is heaven, leaven, no heathens? What's a heathen? It's a heave ho, a pirate walking the plank jumping off the boat, a witch she does not float, drowning in her own tar pit filth, waves of a giant lake that are flooding the shores, no sandy beaches of recreation, instead whipping waves snatching stones circulating them smoothing them, a simple stone? A diamond? Or a golden but not olden nugget. An oyster shell, to ring the church bell on Sundays. Listen carefully you'll hear the sea inside of a seashell. A crab meat not artificial, real true, honest, no deceit, a name that is real, legal and not imagined, reality, goodness, wonderfulness, a name that rhymes with Mary, as merry. Skip skip skip to my Lou, skip to my Lou my darling.
