Poet Beth "Batyah" Elishevah Ginzberg expresses her creative poetic meditations about water as a very powerful atmospheric element of the environment. Ginzberg wrote these poems at the East Rogers Park Lake Michigan Beaches, on-the-spot, to experientially convey the full effect of the Great Lakes of Chicago, IL USA for your reading pleasure.

LIONS IN LOVE

Point just an index finger into moving waters [not still waters] and derive a cleanness a pureness of heart, a heart that protects itself, not a heart that is hung out dangling on a limb, a heart that knows who to love and when, and when not to.

Can you say "I love you?" Can you say "sweetie, honey, sweet heart, wonderful, dearest?" "I love you very much!" Why not? The Torah tells us to have affection for each other. Love? Yes, love is not a dirty word. 4-letters yes, but not a swear word. If you feel this word love is tainted, [a word of romance] then instead say "affection, empathy, sympathy, mercy, lovingkindness, truth, wonderment, attachment, sincerity, desire, passion".

Feel better? Not hung out dry on a limb in a relationship of unrequited "love"?

So, does Mick Jagger help us to feel a strong powerful mightiness, and The Beatles? Bob Dylan. Joan Baez? Carol King.

Go for it! Feel their strength as they sing as if to sing only to you in a personal one-to-one love song, for you only, individually. As they sing this beautiful singing causes joyousness, a feeling of rejoicing.

An alertness, a sounding like that of a Shofar [ram's horn]. Can you blow a Shofar? A Shofar can be blown by a woman for other women. A Rebbitzen? [Rabbi's wife?] Woman Rabbi? Yes!

The power of a great lion roaring mouth open wide as he protects his lionesses. A kosher meat ram sacrificed by Abraham instead of a human, not to murder his son Isaac. Angels who came down from heaven to redirect Abraham to save his son's life. To eat a good nutritious healthy meal of lamb chops instead.

Righteousness, goodness, greatness. To life! [not death] L' Chaim!

TORAH IS SUSTENANCE

Image result for SHABBAT MEAL

Water, sprinkles of water everywhere but not a drop to drink, to call pray for purple rain, seeded Cumulus clouds, not a raindrop to be had, not a teardrop. To must pray for rain, on Sukkot as well as other days, to beg the clouds to open to drizzle on our gardens, our farms, bird baths, ocean waters not to recede off our beaches, beaches becoming smaller, an infringement on our recreational beach parks, heavy splashing tides rolling in closer and closer pushing the sands up onto the shores, ducks frollicking geese flying seagulls diving.

Red flag up no swimming, yellow flag up swim with caution, green flag up swim as you wish. Blessed to be living on/near a beach of moving waters, mikvah, a touch of a finger not to need total immersion.

A large fish that swallowed Jonah, a humungus white whale Moby Dick, the blubber of a slaughtered Canadian whale as chewing gum, careful to not wear down the teeth. Eskimos in igloos all year round, blocks of ice built up to form a wall, blocking the cold frigid windy air, a circular shelter, no homelessness among the Eskimos. Padded down with blue, purple and red-dyed wool.

Ice fishing scooping in the middle of a frozen lake, a hole drilled burrowed deeply into the icy surface to put in a hook and sinker, to uplift Blue Gills as fish, fish more desirable than meat, the Hebrews preferred fish to meat. Sustenance. Fish oil, fins and scales kosher fish. Not a swearing Swordfish not a cussing Catfish. Not a swishing shellfish. No mean ugly Sharks, teeth as swords, weapons, no scales. Not predatory fish, not fish that eat meat. Vegan animals: sheep, goats, bulls, pigeons, rams.

"Where there is Torah there is sustenance, where there is no sustenance there is no Torah."

Kosher meats and Vegan eating, salads' green lettuce.

Let us to have prayed, eaten, drank and been joyous! To have sung Selah! The Hallel.

A PIRATES' TREASURE MAP FOUND UNDER WATER

Image result for treasure map in a bottle

Oi! Ahoy! A bottle of rum and a yo ho ho! A shot of whisky, golden yellow Gold Rush nuggets, a quick slippery slurp to empty the shot glass, carnival glass, etchings on the glass, a small thick glass, glass composed of silica sand.
Where to find this treasure map? Under and into the sands of the beach, a moving waters beach, to just insert your hand into the water and you come out clean!
Mr. Clean wore earrings, a nose ring, was he a slave?
The Hebrew People transposed from being slaves to the Egyptians into becoming the Leaders of the World, Internationally, Chieftains, Priests: Kohen, Levi, Nazirite, Prophets, Na'avim. Which of these five are you? Or an Israelite Priest? An Israelite Priestess? Batyah, the Egyptian Princess who helped the baby Moshe out of the River Nile? To raise him as her own child. He to love her as his own real Mother. His true birth Mother paid by the Egyptians to raise her Moshe child, the love of the biological mother-to-son true love bond relationship: lovingkindness, courage, honesty.
Where does this treasure map lead us to? Blue waters, blue skies, a deep blue horizon that separates the seas from the skies.
Comfortable shoes for walking hiking, tip-toeing in the sand, a bicycle to ride on a path, a journey along the beach waters, rubber tires filled up with air to the brim, a silver bike tire rim, to desire a new car vehicle, to be a child in a playground and climb up and down Jacob's Ladder in a park.
Following the angels, we are second only to the angels. An angel to put his arm around your shoulders, to massage your back, to knead your neck and back of head with strong firm hands, all stress leaving the body and brain, to wash off to be pure in these natural moving waters.
She sent me a treasure map, postal mail. Who to love, what is her advice? To like everyone. To love God.
