Poet Beth "Batyah" Elishevah Ginzberg expresses her creative poetic meditations about water as a very powerful atmospheric element of the environment. Ginzberg wrote these poems at the East Rogers Park Lake Michigan Beaches, on-the-spot, to experientially convey the full effect of the Great Lakes of Chicago, IL USA for your reading pleasure.

THE GREAT ATLANTIC AND PACIFIC OCEANS

Image result for ocean

A body of wandering wild water that extends hungrily from one end of the Earth to the other. Expansive, huge, humungous. Salt as a mineral in water to tingle the skin. So much water, to never worry of thirsting again.

Heavy heaves of hot waves, waves that are not wishing, waves that are blessing. Tumbling tidal waves, tsunamis, big boating, riding atop of a wave curl as cute as a young girl on water, balanced on a surfboard: frothy like Ajax dishwashing liquid, cleanness, natural water, 100% pureness.

The Great Atlantic and Pacific Oceans: seeing sea shells strewn seriously about and around over multiple grains of golden grounded sands, piercing green dunes grass sticking up in piles of bushes, smell of BBQ fires roasting luscious fish, a place to eat, a place to rest.

Exercising swimming, floating on one's back in the ocean water like a lazy Great White Whale, housing for Jonah, smoothing on suntan and sunscreen lotions, bronzing the skin, sipping cool iced water and feeling altogether awesome!

A pool of a place of social activity, listening to delightful music and the swishing of the waves.

A Great Time in the Eternity of the Great Oceans!
